I’m a middle-aged computer scientist working in the software industry. This blog is a form of loitering near the areas of my expertise (and inexpertise). So, I write casual explorations into techniques, algorithms and data structures of information retrieval, natural language processing and machine learning. And whatever else comes to mind.

Untracked files are files in the project directory that are never added to version management system. Since I use Git, of course, untracked merely means I don’t have a project or an overall goal or purpose in mind.

All my code is published under Apache 2 license (unless otherwise indicated).
